We decided on a return visit to the Isle of Wight for various reasons, mainly nostalgic as it's a destination we'd both enjoyed visiting as children. Our own children had never been to the island before, so when the latest 'Park Resorts' brochure dropped through our letterbox it didn't take us long to book ourselves a caravan holiday on the lovely Isle of Wight. This time we opted for a huge 3-bedroom range-topping 'Gold' caravan with heating throughout plus various other luxury touches (even crystal decanters and glasses would you believe). We were reasonably lucky with the weather too - it stayed mostly dry and sunny although still pretty cold.
