This was our FIFTH holiday in Swanage and the THIRD time we've stayed at Cala D'Or, the house that overlooks the beach. This time we decided to take a 2 week break instead of the usual week, to give ourselves plenty of time to relax. The weather let us down a bit this time (no surprise there...) and despite having had hot sunny weather before we went away and again the week following our return, we only had one or two really nice days during the holiday! Didn't really matter though as we still had a great time. Ended up taking the laptop with us this year so we could do SOME work and keep an eye on the online shop orders.
